Our 30-day money-back guarantee and how to cancel an order or request a refund. DeedPoll.online is an independent private UK service, not affiliated with HM Government.
30-day money-back guarantee
Every order is covered by a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with your deed poll for any reason, or if an organisation refuses your certificate because of the format we supplied, we will reissue the document free of charge or refund you in full — your choice.
- Applies for 30 days from the date of purchase.
- Covers the preparation fee we charged you.
- No questions asked — you do not need to give a reason.
- Refunds are returned to the original payment method.
Cancelling an order
Digital (instant download) orders: because the document is delivered to you immediately, the right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations does not apply once the download has been accessed. Our 30-day money-back guarantee above still applies.
Posted orders not yet dispatched: you can cancel and receive a full refund at any time before we dispatch your certificate. Contact us as soon as possible.
Posted orders already dispatched: you may return the unused certificate to us within 14 days of delivery for a full refund of the preparation fee. Return postage is at your own cost.
How to request a refund or cancellation
- Email office@deedpoll.online with your order number (shown on your receipt and in your account).
- Tell us whether you would like a reissue or a refund.
- For posted returns, we will confirm the return address and process the refund once the unused certificate reaches us.
Processing time: refunds are normally issued within 5 working days of approval and appear on your statement within a further 3–10 working days, depending on your card issuer.
What is not refundable
- Third-party fees you pay separately (for example HM Passport Office, DVLA, or court enrolment fees).
- Postage you paid to return a posted certificate to us.
- Orders where the certificate has been signed, witnessed or already used to update a record.
